Akai APC Mini

Akai APC Mini is a compact controller designed for use with Ableton Live. This MIDI controller is versatile and powerful, the only aspect that is really 'mini' about this controller is the format. The controller also has the same build quality as other Akai products - hence it is perfect for use on stage The Akai controller uses 8x8 grid multicolor clips that can be played within Ableton. The threecolor lighting gives instant visual feedback through three clips statuses: loaded clip, clip playing and recording. You're not limited to 64 clips: you can expand the reach of the 8x8 grid on the APC Mini Controller using the Shift button and direction arrows. With nine compact channel faders you can easily mix tracks. The functionality of these faders are not limited to volume: these can be used for panning, fades and sends: easily add reverbs, delays, filters and other effects! Akai APC Mini Ableton controller is already pre-mapped in Ableton - you can go straight to work with performance and production. The controls on this MIDI controller work one-on-one with Ableton and can be adjusted to preference. The controller works over USB power: there is no external power supply required. In addition, there is no need to install additional drivers for this controller, the device is in fact 'class-compliant.
