The Auralex Studio Foam Wedges 3 inches are ideal for areas with higher sound pressure levels and for areas where more absorption of low frequencies is desirable. Hereby a more accurate sound image is achieved.
The 3-inch wedge is almost two times more absorbent than the 2 inch version. Of course wedges certainly effective in combination with bass traps, diffusers and other treatments in the field of studio decor.
