The technology used in the Saffire PRO 24 DSP is known as VRM. This stands for Virtual Reference Monitoring. VRM Allows you to hear the mix in different environments, and through various speakers from different positions, all with only your headphones.
With fifteen speaker and three room models you get multiple perspectives on your mix. You also get the Saffire Pro 24 DSP Fully Suplied With Ableton Live Lite, Xcite + bundle, Novation's Bass Station VSTi, more than 1GB of samples from Loopmasters and the latest version of Focusrite Plug-in Suit containing compression, reverb, EQ and gate VST / UA plug-ins.
Saffire PRO 24 DSP consists of 2 high quality pre-amps, two additional analogue inputs, six analogue outputs, ADAT inputs (for expanding the interface with, for example, Focusrite’s OctoPre MkII), stereo S/PDIF inputs and outputs and two virtual 'loopback' inputs for routing digital audio between software applications — ideal for capturing online audio.
