Product Information Korg Monotron Duo
Korg is a king in making small but cool synthesizers, such as the Volca series. Just like the Monotron series together with the Korg Monotron Delay. This Korg Monotron Duo is completely analog and has two oscillators, a ribbon touch-sensitive keyboard, an MS-20 filter and a built-in speaker. This synth also has a 3.5 mm minijack input and output for filtering external signals and listening through headphones or for recording. The X-MOD (cross modulation) function gives a similar effect like FM synthesis, with one oscillator modulating the frequency of the other. This gives a metallic sound and produces harmonically rich sounds. You can set the keyboard to major, minor, chromatic or no scale. The filter from the classic Korg MS-10 and MS-20 is also built into this synthesizer (cutoff and resonance). This synth is powered by just 2 AAA batteries, which keeps synthesizer working for up to 8 hours! In short: this Korg Monotron Duo is a fat synth in pocket format.
