The Volca Sample 2 is an advanced sampler with a powerful engine capable of 8-voice polyphony, digital reverb, a rich, powerful dual filter, and plenty of sample manipulation controls, making it a powerful sampler. Completely hands-on with plenty of sample manipulation controls, the Volca Sample 2 runs on 6 AA batteries, has a built-in speaker, and at just 372g / 13oz (without batteries), is perfect for standalone use! Plus, thanks to its USB, SYNC IN-OUT, and MIDI connections, the Volca Sample 2 integrates seamlessly with your live rig, production studio, and of course, any other Volca! The new micro USB port added to the Korg Volca Sample 2 lets you connect your Volca Sample 2 to your computer for easy control of your Volca and sample management. This allows you to easily control, sync, and play your Volca Sample 2 from any DAW. Additionally, individual MIDI channels can now be assigned to different parts, making it easier to play with an external device like a sequencer or keyboard. Use the dedicated AudioPocket Manager app for iOS to record new samples directly and transfer them directly to your volca sample. The Volca Sample 2 has an increased memory of 200 memory slots; double that of its predecessor. 50 are left empty at the factory settings, allowing you to load your own original or pre-made libraries. Pattern locations have also been increased from 10 to 16. The new generation of volca samples comes with a brand-new sound library carefully curated to meet the needs of all music producers and beatmakers everywhere.
