Productinformatie Sequential Pro 3 SE
De Sequential Pro 3 SE is Sequential's Special Edition van hun nieuwe flagship synthesizer. Het beschikt over een mooi, kantelbaar paneel en een volledig eersteklas walnoothouten afwerking.
De Pro 3 SE heeft dezelfde krachtige geluidsengine als de standaardeditie: drie oscillatoren, drie vintage filters, drie LFO's, vier loopable envelopes, een enorme 32-slots mod-matrix en een 16 x 16 x 4 sequencer. Voeg daar dubbele digitale effecten en vier in- en uitgangen voor CV aan toe, en je hebt een enorm krachtig instrument dat net zo opwindend is om te programmeren als om te spelen.
De Pro 3 SE is een hybride van solide, ouderwetse analoge synthese gecombineerd met veelzijdige digitale technologie. De twee spanningsgestuurde oscillatoren zorgen voor warmte, terwijl de derde wavetable-oscillator digitale edge en grit biedt. Met 32 wavetables van elk 16 waveforms en wave morphing zijn de tonale mogelijkheden immens.
Drie filters gebaseerd op vintage ontwerpen
Hetgeen de Pro 3 SE zijn ballen geeft, zijn de vintage-stijl filters. Filter 1 is een 4-polig low-pass ontwerp gebaseerd op het Prophet-6 filter. Filter 2 is een klassieke transistorladderfilter met optionele resonantiecompensatie om zijn low-end punch te behouden. Filter 3 is een klassiek 2-polig, state-variable ontwerp op basis van het OB-6-filter dat continu kan worden gevarieerd tussen low-pass, notch, en high-pass, met een optionele band-pass modus. Een extra Drive-circuit zorgt voor nog meer pit.
Misschien wel de meest krachtige prestatietool van de Pro 3 SE is de sequencer. Met 16 sporen, 16 stappen en 4 frases, beschikt het over zowel realtime als stapinvoer, variabele gate- en sequence lengtes, meerdere afspeelmodi en parafone bediening. Naast noten kan de sequencer elke parameter in de modulatiematrix moduleren.
Monofone en parafone bediening
De Pro 3 SE is ontworpen als een superkrachtige monosynth, maar het is ook een veelzijdige 3-stemmige parafonische synth. Dit maakt het spelen van akkoorden van 3 noten niet alleen mogelijk, maar ook dankzij creatief gebruik van effecten en per-oscillator modulatie, zeer expressief.
Bundel dit alles in een drie-octaaf, semi-gewogen toetsenbord met aanslaggevoeligheid en aftertouch, voeg pitch- en mod-wielen en een touch strip toe, en je hebt een van de meest inspirerende synths ooit gemaakt.
