Productinformatie Waldorf Iridium
De Waldorf Iridium lijkt ietwat overweldigend op het eerste gezicht, maar is verassend gemakkelijk en intuïtief in gebruik. Dit dankzij het ruime touch screen en een slimme modulatie matrix. De synth-engine is volledig gekopieerd van de populaire Waldorf Quantum. Je kan zelfs presets van de Quantum laden in de Iridium en vice versa. Je hebt trouwens genoeg ruimte voor je presets; 7000 slots om precies te zijn.
Voor elk van de drie oscillatoren kan je kiezen tussen vijf verschillende types waaronder wavetable, particle en resonator. Filters heb je ook genoeg. Niet alleen de standaard low- en highpass filters, maar ook creatieve comb en drive filters heb je tot je beschikking. Nog steeds niet overtuigd? Wat dacht je van 6 envelopes, 6 LFO's en een zogenoemde 'Komplex Modulator'. Dit laatste kan dienen als een envelope of LFO, maar dan met een vorm die je zelf kan 'intekenen' op het touchscreen. Als kers op de taart heb je niet alleen MIDI, maar ook CV/gate tot je beschikking op de de Waldorf Iridium.
